I'm not sure about those, but I do know locking blades are illegal in London as I had my small pocket knife confiscated.

Most shops won't sell anything that they consider a "knife" to under 16s. You may have to show ID if buying over the counter.

If you actually get hold of the thing in the first place, I think the odds of getting it confiscated are slim. Just remember to put it in your hold baggage when flying.

I think the police would confiscate them if you got caught. Plus I wouldn't risk carrying something like that in public anyway. If you do buy them, keep them at home.

Not wishing to be too political here, but as a white middle-class professional male I've carried a Swiss Army knife on me all the time since I was 18 (except on flights) and have never been stopped or had any trouble...

I deeply suspect that if I was a black teenager wearing a hoodie, I'd be up for carrying a dangerous weapon with intent.

Hmmm...

If you live in the US, probably not unless you brandish the knife in public. My dad carries a Gerber everywhere

I generally practice Bushcraft and you are allowed to carry any article that has a non-locking blade of under 3inches max. No matter what age.

And you are allowed to carry a fixed blade of over 4inches if you have a bona fide reason, religion, chef, bushcraft, and anything that requires a knife, but you must be over 18.

I have a Mora Clipper and a DC4 stone, and I can get my knife shaving sharp, yes that means shaving hairs lol.

Ohh and by the way, Gerber isn't a very good brand, get an Opinel, cheaper and better, and you'll also need a sharpening stone, DC4 is excellent.
