I told him the materials, but I really don't know how to explain the rest. thats the circuit im basing it off of with specs of my own coil for simplicity. The safety gap is OK, the tank cap across the trasformer is NOT - this way the secondary winding of the transformer sees full RF AC voltage and can easily get damaged. It is essential to put the main gap as well across the transformer.
