Daim. Playing with my ignition coil powered tesla I've gotten a few frisky shocks from the secondary. It should be running at 2MHz, and I really thought this was several magnitudes above the range that could be felt. I also see some long (relative, I get ~2cm at the break out) straight arcs that looks like more like DC than the regular AC when playing with fluorescent tubes. The IC runs at appr 300Hz, output is rectified and charging 400pF caps to appr 10KV. Can't see any flash over from primary to secondary, although I did put them fairly close (1cm). Any other ideas as to what it could be?
