does anyone have any knowledge of, or experience with the WIFi quality on the different iTouches from gens 1,2,3, and 4? iwas told that gen 1 was kinda weak compared with the later gens, is that true?

im asking cause i need to buy one off ebay (or someone) for controlling my ARdrone (which doesnt use a normal RC controller, but the itouch.) range and reliability is thus a concern.
