Hi all.

If people haven't heard of Buckard Heim, he was a physicist who lived in the 19th century who shared many
of Prof. Hawking's disabilities after an unfortunate accident involving explosives.

It appears that in the next few months, thanks to experiments at CERN's LHC we may finally get confirmation or refutal of Heim's theories concerning the required modifications to both relativity and the Standard Model to meld with quantum theory.

One of the central tenets of Heim theory is the existence of a "neutral electron" which is suggested to have a mass similar to a conventional electron but interact with matter more like a neutrino.

If neutral electrons do in fact exist then they may show up as a resonance on high energy collisions in the high TeV range.

The other important prediction of Heim theory is the existence of a form of hyperspace which circumvents light speed by exploiting alternate dimensions, which could also begin to explain the infamous "FTL neutrinos" observation if it is confirmed later this year.

If only CERN could test for String Theory... I'd like to live in a universe with 11 dimensions... String Theory's idea might sound complicated, but the idea isn't really. The MATH is, but.. yeah. Also, is the neutral electron not charged? If it is, then why is it an electron? Or is it a neutrino with a negative charge and a mass of an electron?

Not exactly sure, AFAIK it behaves a lot like a Cooper pair.

It does make me wonder if Type 2 superconductivity is a manifestation of Heim theory, in that Cooper pairs are actually held together by neutral electrons condensing out of the quantum foam.
