Hi all. I see that Gary Mckinnon is still facing extradition to the USA for trial nearly ten years later.
As he has been under virtual house arrest for nearly all of this time, not allowed to use a computer or even a mobile phone then surely he has long since served his "time" by any sense of the word.
His psychological state is precarious as it is, so I would advise that the U.S. Government formally charge Mckinnon but agree to "time served by proxy", retract the extradition request and leave the poor man alone from then on.
Feel free to comment on this thread, but I think this is a compromise which satisfies all concerned parties.
As per moderator's request I have not mentioned any controversial issue re. the material he may/not have found during his hacking exploits.
