Hi, just finished my drsstc. runs great producing 36" arcs to a target.I decided to scope the primary waveform and noticed that it had a strange shape. It has the correct number of cycles according to the pulsewidth but it dips halfway through the on time.I have attached a scope shot. Sorry about the quality. I don't know what could be going on here. I was hoping someone could help. I've seen pictures of other primary waveforms and they rise to peak current then continue evenly until shutdown. Specs are:4.5"x12" secondary with 30awg wire 4"x13" spun torroid Flat primary with 0.25" copper tubing tapped at 4.9 turns coupling 0.179 halfbridge with voltage doubler 400v buss voltage resonant frequency 175Khz primary current 350 amps
Thanks Claude.

What is happening is that yours primary are tunned at the same frequency of the secondary. You need to low a bit the primary frequency
