Well if they do confirm these results it would make a big impact. It suggests that neutrinos may not interact in the way that theory predicts, which implies new physics.

I thought that the results from the original experiment due to a gps error? Apparently if relativity was not factored into the gps distance, then it would exactly account for the amount faster than light that the neutrinos were traveling.
