My friend is paying me to build some lock pics for him any ways I don't have a bench grinder, and all of the sudden the bearings went bad in my dremal is it worth replacing the bearings, or should I just go buy a new dremal tool?

Is yours the 10.8V Lion battery one? ive never had the bearings fail on the traditional corded dremel. but ive had to buy 3 of the 10.8V battery powered ones. theres only one bearing and it a press fit so you can forget about fixing it.

Or buy one from a bigbox store, swap the bearings and take advantage of their return policy.
I hope that you're being sarcastic, because defrauding the hardware store only pushes prices up for those of us willing to actually pay for our purchases

I don't know where in America you are, but where I am (Canada) the following applies:
351. (1) Every one who, without lawful excuse, the proof of which lies on him, has in his possession any instrument suitable for the purpose of breaking into any place, motor vehicle, vault or safe under circumstances that give rise to a reasonable inference that the instrument has been used or is or was intended to be used for any such purpose, is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years.

Could be. That is a very old law which would be very difficult to prosecute in and of itself. The B&E implements laws would probably be reasonable cause to arrest someone, holding them would be a different matter.
