I was trying to get my Jacob's Ladder to work, and had been working on it for 8 hours. Now on my computer everything is wavy and I am dizzy. Did I just get high off of ozone? O_O

Yeah, ozone is some nasty stuff. I have the driver from a plasma globe that can make some nice little arcs that are fun to play with, however it creates ozone like it's its job. It has given my a terrible headache several times. I do not remember feeling high though, this was distinctly unpleasant and there was nothing euphoric about it.
So, do I think ozone will get you high? No. Do I think it will make you sick? Definitively.

In my experience you can get something that resembles a bad case of flu that is cured by a nights sleep. I reccomend you make sure you have good ventilation next time since it can be very unpleasant.

Ozone is pretty poisonous, use short durations of HV and good ventilation, Nitrous chemistry can leave you fuzzy enough to make bad decisions that lead to a fatal acident, and are poisonous too. you need to be more careful, once you can feel the effects of HV atmosperic chemistry your already past the point where your body is seeing toxic effects.

I get "high" by experimenting with electronics in general, and with high voltage specifically, but NOT from Ozone. When the Ozone starts to burn my eyes and irritate my nose, then I know it's time to shut down the equipment and open the windows. The smell of Ozone is unmistakeable, and as soon as you've detected it, you need to act quickly because it's very nasty stuff.
