What you need is a detailed data sheet from Aerovox on that cap, or a similar one. That will give you a better idea of how much punishment they can take.

If anyone wants to outbid me on the cap i won't mind. I've thought about it some more and decided i don't really need a cap like that for any near future projects.
they might be suitable for a portable induction gun, but i fear the insulation requirements would make it too much of a pain for a reluctance coilgun design.
