I have a 900mhz Digi Xtend Module w/ carrier board, as well as a packaged receiver. The output power level is 1W. The mobile unit has a carrier board w/ antenna mount and power supply. Simply give it 7-24v, and you have bidirectional communication through a serial line. The PC side is packaged in an aluminum case, and connects via RS232. Both antennas are included. Here is the mobile module, upside down:
 This is a test setup I had a while ago, you can see the PC side reciever.

Each bare module costs $184 new, I am looking for $300 including the base boards, packages, and antennas. I actually originally got this from Jeff of kVA Effects, he is the one who designed the base board.
