I attended the Newcastle (UK) Maker Faire back in March helping out the 3D printing company Shapeways. There was a whole host of stands & displays ranging from robotics to biochemistry with a fair smattering of different 3D printers, radio controlled devices and many other craft exhibits in between.

If you have the opportunity to go... then go, you won't regret it.
