I'm currently in my last month of Year 12, my final year of school. Despite this though I want to finish my VTTC, and I need something that will content me between studying for my exams. This is where my VTTC comes in; I currently have all the parts piled up on my workbench, except the material I need for the frame and base.

For my coil I need about 1m^2 of 5-10mm plastic sheeting, I was thinking HDPE because it should be relatively cheap. Does anyone know anywhere in Australia (South Australia preferably) where I could get some? maybe end cuts? The major shapes I need are two 350mm diameter circles

Tap plastics Link2 has been my favorite place for a long time now. They ship internationally so your covered there. They also cut to size and cheap!

I would suggest getting polycarbonate, it is an awesome material kinda like plexi but much easier to work with. It's also about the same price as HDPE.

They also have HDPE there as well.

Hope this helps,
Eric

Link2

Corex in Melbourne. They will cut to size as well. No idea if they have a minimum order or anything, but it can't do any harm to drop them an E-mail
