Snapple bottle caps work well too. People have suggested me beer bottle caps, but I am too young to access them. But for a Tesla Coil you need a lot of them. I've seen my caps make some LOUD 3 inch sparks from the lid to the foil around it, which is more than the coil can produce itself for now -_- but aluminum foil and tape is tedious. Remove the "and" because there is actual aluminum foil tape. Found at your local Home Depot or Lowes!

You don't need too many, I used a 6pack to get .006uF
And yea, a 2 liter bottle would be a lot bigger, with thinner walls.
