I shot off an email to the manufacturer of the rod. I am hoping to get a reply with the percentages of doping.

Been checking craigslist and ebay... I soooo cant afford even cheap mirrors. I am starting to think my nd:yag laser is doomed like my "tea air" laser that I've been trying to get working for 3 months!

They look reasonably priced to me:

also I highly recommend this:

It will make aligning the mirrors 1000x easier.

Edit:
yep, I also found the ceramic pump chambers:

I got 2 of this for 27$ each
They are made for 6mm rods, so your in luck, as your rod will fit, but it will be a bit longer then needed.

I appreciate the assistance looking :) but those parts are WAY out of my price range. Thus the goal of free laser. I was going to try and skip oc mirror and make an hr mirror. I literally have a 0$ budget. poor economy, lousy job, and too many bills. :(

What i do have is a lot of scrap so i can build a rail to mount components on. The tools and know how for some light but precision machining.

The good news is that I have found out what the percentage dopant my nd:yag rod is. It is .8%
