Hi guys, a quick question about CTs. first of all Steve says on his website that 2x 1:33 CTs are a good idea, then in his logbook, he mentions that it's introducing a significant phase shift , and that one transformer is better... What's the best solution for a CT? also, I can't find any hard info about phase leading. How do I modify Steve Ward UD driver to keep my options open? is it sufficient to add an inductor to the existing 100nF/1Kohm in serie CT load?

I believe it is accepted that cascaded transformers are perfectly acceptable. To add phase lead you need an inductor in series with a low value burden resistor. The 1k resistor is not suitable as a burden. The burden needs to be in parallel with the CT output, whereas the 1k ohm, 100nF circuit is for current limiting and keeping the CT output balanced, I believe.
