Both should switch at 80Khz with no problem. Look at the rise and fall times in the data sheet next time, that is all the info you need to know for switching.

Currentkills91, they've got about the same delay; rise and fall time as the APT50GP60 I was enquiring about, which is given for 200Khz operation. About the same price as these on digikey too! What frequency are you planning on operating? Tell us how these fare, it's about time, we had more IGBT references on HvWiki for DRSSTC use...
