This year I am a part of our FIRST Technology Team (FTC) Link2 at our high school. Last year was the first year and the total cost came to about $2,000. We were able to pay off most of it off with funding from different businesses around the community, but this year I thought we could expand our funding horizons with the internet. Does anyone have anyone they think might be interested? It never hurts to try. Those who donate get their names and websites displayed at competitions, on the website, and on our official shirts.

If it's needed I can post pictures of last years team/robot and our sponsorship form, etc. But it's 3am right now and I need to go to bed.

Minnesota, last year we took 3rd at state, we would have taken first but our wifi screwed up and they continued the match, so our robot couldn't do anything. This year we have a very good chance of going to nationals.

Try Kickstarter - it's a great way to get funds and to get your project visible on the internet.

I just visited their site but I don't really understand the whole goal idea. Although these guys made $6,500 off a simple plasma speaker that probably doesn't even sound that great. Link2
