Hamfest is over now,
heres what i managed to get:
TRIO CS-151577A Oscilliscope
24v 20A PSU 30A powersupply
A Ex-Military Plane Part (loads of Huge Diodes on it ':D)
ive also got the number of a guy who has a 5KW Variac to be Brought at only £35 nearly never used, just set to 24v for charging a 1/2 tonne array of batterys :D
Hopefully more next year :D

Tom, do take care to remember that variable autotransformers provide no isolation from the mains!
You'd do much better spending your thirty five quid on a proper (safe) battery charger.

he used his combined with a isolation transformer,
im gonna be using it for other things ofcourse
