556 Dual 555 timer.

LM358 - Dual Op Amp

FAN7392 - Hi-lo side Gate drive IC (3 amps)
FAN7382 - Hi-lo side gate drive IC (350 mA source 650 mA sink)

KA7500 Updated version of the TL494 (no idea what the difference is?)

XR2206 - monolithic function generator chip (sort of like the one you guys were talking about, except still made)

7404 - Hex Inverter Chip

7400 - AND gate chip

Can we do common IGBT's / MOSFETS too? Or what about Voltage regs?

Well, the 78/9xx series pretty much covers the voltage regulators.

And the transistors!
2N3055: an high-voltage NPN which, for some reason, everyone uses, despite there being better alternatives.
2N7000: standard small-signal N-channel FET
1N4148: small signal diode
1N4007: 1A 1000V diode
UF4007: 1A 1000V ultrafast
HGTG30N60B3D/A4D: 60A 600V IGBT and its fast version
CM400DU-12F: dual 400A 600V IGBT module
CM300DY-24H: dual 300A 1200V IGBT module
CM600HA-24H: single switch 600A 1200V IGBT module

Yes, those two bin drawers and then 10 more (totalling 12) just like it with caps, resistors, electromechanical, screws, and what not.

That's an impressive collection, where did you get those bin drawers from?

Orchard Supply Hardware year of 2005... I think some Walmart stores may have them too. Mine are made by Akro-Mills.

Far from it! You've missed out all the most versatile ones! smile

LM317 - 1.2V-37V 1.5A variable voltage regulator
LM2941 - low drop-out variable voltage regulator 5-15V 1A
LM338K - 5A Positive Adjustable Voltage Regulator 1.2-32V
L200 - adjustable voltage and current regulator 2.85-36V 0-2A

and my favourite adjustable three terminal regulator:

TL783 - high voltage adjustable regulator 1.25-125V 700mA

And then there's quite a list of precision voltage sources, which I'll let folk to look for themselves.
