While playing with my stamp, I made a very crude version of the jeopardy theme song using the 'freqout' command and a piezo speaker. I figured there would be some songs posted on the web, but found none, so if anyone has a cool tunes, I'd love to see 'em! For now, heres jeopardy:
' {$STAMP BS2} ' {$PBASIC 2.5}
DO FREQOUT 9, 500, 1000 FREQOUT 9, 500, 1250 FREQOUT 9, 500, 1000 FREQOUT 9, 500, 750 FREQOUT 9, 500, 1000 FREQOUT 9, 500, 1250 FREQOUT 9, 750, 1000 FREQOUT 9, 500, 1000 FREQOUT 9, 500, 1250 FREQOUT 9, 500, 1000 FREQOUT 9, 500, 1250 FREQOUT 9, 750, 1500 FREQOUT 9, 250, 1250 FREQOUT 9, 250, 1000 FREQOUT 9, 250, 750 FREQOUT 9, 250, 500 FREQOUT 9, 250, 250 LOOP

There are a few MIDI projects around,
I think you may find the files are still around too.
You may want to look into the ISD sound chips if you want to add some sound to your projects.

This is a bit far from the original idea, but it has to do with both microcontrollers and music, so I thought I'd post it.

It is far from finished yet, but the v0.1 with dsPIC30F3012 is usable. Finding a song that it'll work with, however, can be a challenge. This is because it lacks support for many of the effects used in MOD-files.
An example of a song that it will work with can be found here: , it's sykse.mod.
