Alright, I finally found an article that confirms it can be done without damaging the supplies. It says that you have to unground the chassis of one of the PSU's. Why is that? I see no reason for that.

You only need to unground them if you are running in series, its fine to leave them grounded them for parallel operation.
As per putting them in parallel, it isn't a bad idea to put diodes in series with each supply, but a lot of ATX supplies have sufficient output resistance that they will share without even needing the diodes. I would recommend putting a decent low voltage cap on the output of the beast (especially if you have the diodes in) to help the supply on the load transients. One of the .5 farad ones designed for subs would be great, but even .1F would help keep everything happy (you can also just parallel a bunch of 10000uF caps). Although that said it will probably work without it...
I would definitely recommend putting a load resistor on each supply, 10ohms or so on the 5v line should do it.

That would be awesome except for the 240V part. The only place to access that in most homes is in the kitchen. I have hooked up two outlets before and gotten 240V but, the long cords arent practical either =(
