The only resonance phenomenon that you might associate with metallic nanoparticles is surface plasmon resonance, which I'll leave you to Google for yourself.
As for any NMR gold resonance at 37 Hz in the terrestrial magnetic field, the few references I could find to such a thing were on pseudo-scientific gold prospecting sites, where methods unknown to geophysics attract wishful thinkers.

So if the spark is more like eroding rather than vaporizing the gold, it seems logical then the faster the frequency of the spark the quicker the erosion. So a mot with a high current and a low frequency could be equal to a smaller transformer with a lower current but a higher frequency? I just now realized I maybe should have posted this in the chemistry section, sry
