[edit] But Soyuz can't match the STS for coolness. I'm glad I lived to enjoy and appreciate the whole program. Was glad to pay my share -- one or two thousand dollars over 35 years. Never saw a takeoff or landing in person, but have watched 'em glide overhead many times, including a few in formation with ISS.
