Probably some ceramic TiO2 nanoparticle material.
PS. I'm wrong, apparently it uses nickel and cobalt ... hmm.
PPS. AFAICS this is just about plain electrolysis, still needing a classical solar cell to feed it power ... far less interesting than the TiO2 materials.
