hey,
i took the (part that is attached to the shaft, the metal cylinder) out of a microwave oven fan shaded pole motor, and when i put it back together, it spins in the wrong direction! im almost certain that it used to spin clockwise, but now is spins anti-clockwise, and it blows air backwards. see the wikipedia article - , it says the motor in the picture should spin clockwise, as i thought, but mine definately isnt doing this :S, maybe there is something that couldve fallen out when i dissassembled it? (the shading coils are still there)
btw, which is better, sucking air through the fins of a heatsink, or blowing? cuz i wanna use the fan to cool my zvs driver heatsinks.
