Hello, Thinking about the design of my medium sized SSTC. The controller and bridge will be in the same case. In such situations, would you recommend to insulate the transistors and ground the heatsinks, or use individual heatsink for each transistor without insulation for better heat transfer? I'm concerned the noise from the "hot" heatsinks might interfere with the oscillator (which is the CD4046) or other low power/signal circuits. Or would I be better with shielding the circuits in question with metal sheets soldered and grounded onto the circuit board? Any experience with this?
