What frequency does it run at? Is it resonant?

63KHz . The red capacitor used in the receiver (see on film) has the purpose of running the receiver frequency to that of the emitter.

Hey guys, sorry I have been away. Head in the books trying to do the other side of my project.

Thanks Radhoo for your video and links. I had a good look at how you built your coils and it looks really good. I hope you'll post a video of the working robots charging once completed.

I was unsuccessful in the end in creating higher current transmission. Due to the time restrictions, I had to abandon that part of my project. I believe it could have been down to 2 major things. 1) The input power was way too low. Like Forty said "...if you can crank up the input power, you'll see a nonlinear increase in the efficiency." & 2) The coil design, although good on paper, wasn't great in practice. I seemed to have coils that were very efficient over 300kHz ranges, which shouldn't happen. And when I got to the MHz range, my oscillator gave me a wave more akin to a Picasso painting of Hawaii.

Thank you all for you time, help and advice. It is greatly appreciated.
And don't think that I have completely given up on this, I haven't. I intend to carry on researching this some more, on my own time and dime.
Obviously, within my abilites.

For now, in my dissertation, I'll just use the line "...and here is where the OEM pre-built Witricity device will be housed".

Many thanks,
Iain
