Odd title, but I wasn't sure how to word it. Also this may be a stupid question but bare with me. And I understand that it will probably be a long time if ever that they make a powerful enough telescope to see back so far as the origin of the universe, but if there was such a telescope, that could see further back in space/time then the actual origin of the universe itself, what would it see? Like if it could see over 14 or so billion light years away..

I think the "edge" of the universe is moving farther away from us faster than the speed of light so we can't really see anything. Space is expanding too quickly I think. We've seen the CMB which are remains of the big bang though.
