where did you even get it? are they used in electric train motor inverters? you can definately make a induction furnace if you have a mega watt power line running to your house

Ooh, that's a beautiful brick I'd suggest an OLTC, but you only have 1, and OLTCs tend to eat bricks. No point in starting a project hinging around a part you only have 1 of when said part is likely to be driven to destruction; you'll feel rather sad when the project dies because the brick died If you had, say, 7 more you could make a scary DRSSTC (4 for the bridge, 4 to replace it when you break it in the quest for more power ) Or you could sell it. Out of curiosity, what are the switching speeds like?
