.... Yeah.... I found him under my backpack while about to go to my basement...Looking at its legs, it has spikes or thorns on them. I didn't touch him directly, I just used a flyswatter to "direct" him into the jar.
It's a House centipede! Or, otherwise called a Land Shrimp.

that is a house centipede. a carnivorous hunting critter whose front two legs have adapted into fangs equipped with a paralyzing venom. creepy little bastards. on a side note: i know too much about insects.

Fun, because the common house centipede here, doesn't look like that. They are brown-black in color, and the legs are short, even when they have ~15 legs. Never seen one the color your picture shows, or one with legs that long. Maybe they just dont live as long here, because when i find them, they are commonly dead in the middle of the floor.
Oh well, Different states have their own bugs. Enjoy your bug! Going to just trash it or care for it for fun, or torcher it...?

A SCR ring chaser can have any number of stages greater than 1. If you find out how 4 legged bugs work, then you know how 20 legged ones one work. Of course they had a 100% beta test of the system as more pairs of legs were added.
