hi,
can high currents be obtained from a voltage multiplier with small capacitors? i think the necessary capacitance is inversely proportional to the frequency of the input, but i am not sure, as i want to make a voltage multiplier for my flyback transformer, but i was worried that the output current wouldnt be as high as the current from the xfmr directly.
thx. Alf.

This should answer your questions.
You can't have the same current output as the transformer because this would violate the laws of physics.
