Uses of these giant inductor/ferrite core?

Someone gave me these giant ferrite core inductors.Are they useful to amateur hobbyists?they seems to be the leftover of a solid state arc welder research project
Can I make HV transformers with them?

You should be able to. If you can unwind them onto a spool or something you should have the coil formers/bobbins and enough wire to re-wind them as HV transformers.

I would try to make a AC/DC TIG welder, perhaps also rewinding them.
Not really HVoltish but still

I found them in a trash can of a school lab.They said I can take it.I also found one IGBT module.But what can I build with only one IGBT module?
