Post your unwanted stuff, stuff that sits in the basement for all eternity!

Useful things, bricks, wire, capacitors, the works! (also can post what you may need)

Be sure to post your location, how far you're willing to ship, and terms of trades.

I quite hope this works. :)

Maybe it should go in same/trade?
I would kick this off, but I can't really ship things.
If anyone is willing to come to the fort wayne area to pick things up they're more than welcome to make that known, and business can be done.

And have you been looking for a job?

Yus, to no luck unfortunately. No one wants to hire a 17 year old kid with no previous job experience it seems.

try all the local junk yards and recycling places. If you meet with them in person they might take you on, plus you get free stuff

I've got 4 flyback transformers, various sizes

Heatsinks of different sizes

Mica capacitors, 100 pF 330 pF, Unknown voltages

Mosfets and IGBT's, (give me a rating and I'll see what I have)

A TON of BJT's (all sorts of ratings and gains)

A regulated hefty Power supply thingie (puts out -12 volts and 12 volts)

A slightly dented but still functional 36000 mFD 35 VDC Capacitor

Various filtering electrolytics

Diodes of sorts

a 50 uA meter converted to a 50 kV meter, (just some hv resistors soldered to the leads, can be converted back)

Half Opened computer PSU, if you would like anything inside of it just ask

614 FT of 14 gauge stranded wire (can't ship that in large amounts, by the foot I guess? Money is great for this one, but trades are nice)

Neon light inverter circuit (puts out a really crappy sine wave?)

What I need;

Inverter grade capacitors (2-3 of them, need to be 1000 uF or more, 300 volts or more)

Heatsinks

Large Vacuum Tubes

Water Pump (needs to fit a 3/8" hose)

Protoboards (yes, like the ones from radioshack, I'd get them from there but I haven't got money. This would be a sort of include thing when trading)

Ferric chloride? (hazardous to ship? Not so sure about this)

Litz or Magnet wire (any size, but I need the smaller gauges, 30-32 gauge)

I live in New York, buffalo area, and I can ship anywhere in the United States of America. (sorry international guys!)

And, to the people suggesting junkyards and scrapyards;

I live in the suburbs, and don't have a car. There isn't a scrapyard anywhere within walking or biking distance, so that option is out. I check craigslist frequently, and take TV's and curbside electronic stuff if I can.

This is why I have to resort to trading for my stuff. :)
