Here is the thing: The amp is supposed to give out 0 volts when i attach the input to the ground and when i don't attach it to anything. It doesn't happen in the second case. Not at all. When I attach it to a +3 line it shows 1.8, when i cut the input off, i get 1.4v, when I attach to the ground, I get 0.4V and when I attach to the -3, I get a value around zero, becaue the low limit for the woltage cuts the output off at a value near 0.
If I remove the feedback resistor, the amp starts to output 3v when I attach it to 3v line and shows -3v when i attach it to -3v line.
All measurements are made with reference to the "ground" between -3 and +3 rails.
Connecting +3V and the -input through a variable resistor doesn't seem to do anything either.
I am totally lost and I don't understand why this circuit works lopsided and doesn't have the gain of 1.

got it to work less lopsided not sure why the input of 3V gives out about 1.5v on the output Is unity gain considering amp losses?
