 		Electra, I did try that, and what happens is an instant over-current trip for the PSU. The thing is, the inverter output is a full bridge, which alternately connects the rectified high voltage output of a transformer to either output socket to simulate a sine wave. When it outputs to the line connected to ground, it forms a short and shuts everything down.
