I got thinking about steve wards class e tesla coil. The problem I think I would have is tuneing it for effencientcy. to get around this I am thinking about makeing it tune to the primary?
The only thing that I think would suffer is the performance from the secondary. till you tune the primary close to the secondary. With this setup I think problems with heating would be less.
I would like to know what others think of this setup, I haven't try it yet.

Not exactly what I had in mind, I want alittle more control. ( like the enable feature of a mosfet driver ic)
