Thank you! So I need to find 2 identical semiconductors to made the driver? or can they just be similar in specs? I'll pull the TV's apart soon but I wont touch anything until I've looked up all the components and decide what I want to do :)
I had no idea I could make an O-Scope... I might look into that also, could come in handy.
The wire in the degauss coil would be perfect for winding a flyback secondary for capacitor charging wouldn't it?

I have taken apart ~10 CRT TV's/Monitors and only have been able to salvage the wire on deflection yoke twice. Whey you remove them by breaking the glass or taking out each screw you end up with two coils, easy enough right? Well each coil 80% of the time is covered in some sort of adhesive or glue which makes them almost impossible to unwind with out breaking the wire.
As for the Fet's having to be the same, i have no clue. If you do decide to use two different Fet's make sure they are close as (spec wise) possible and for an inductor you can use the the one on the in side of the TV on the power cable.

It usually just peels off, especially if you warm it a bit. I've never broken the glass yet. pliers and sidecutters are useful for removing the yoke from the tube, though.
