For me personally, it is way too often and most often it’s against my will for example it is large goods rubbish pickup time where I live and in the past week I have seen 2 things that I would have loved to have grabbed, but to my dismay I have been unable to grab. Number 1 was a big lovely looking old oscilloscope (broken or not I wanted it) which I saw as my bus past it (it was on the side of the road) I couldn't have gotten off as I had an exam that morning, and when I went back it was gone :'( 2nd thing was just yesterday, after a long time searching for an old rear projection TV in the classifieds I saw one on the side of the road, and again by the time I could come back to it, it was indeed gone. Frustrating! My question is how often does this happen to you?

I feel like this always happens to me. I'll be driving through my town and see a nice old looking TV or a microwave and I'll come back to pick it up and it's gone. Even a couple weeks ago at my place of work (hospital kitchen) they were throwing away two "broken" restaurant size microwaves. By the time I got around to running it by my manager, they were already taken away. :(

I had this happen once with an old printer, turned out to have an intact 4*40 LCD. I took it out and left it on the top, by the time I'd gone to ask permission some little git had swiped it
Probably to decorate their room too, what a waste.
