I was doing some research on Barium, and found some very long lived isotopes like 70 TeraYear half life! But Ive never seen an "m" in the superscript as in : (137m)Ba, where the 137m is superscript to the Ba, what does this notation mean?

m notates a metastable nuclear isomer. It shares the same number of protons and neutrons as an existing isotope, but exists in an "excited" state for an extended period of time. It can decay from its excited state and emit a gamma ray.
137m1Ba, for example, has a half life of 2.552 minutes, and decays to 137Ba by emitting a 661.659keV gamma ray. More here:
