I finished my first DRSSTC but it dosen't work at all.there is no spark and nearby fluorscent lamps didn't lignts up.
I scoped the output of the driver section and found that it is not oscillating and there is no output.I tried to reverse the connection of my primary coil but still can't make it resonant. I ground it to main ground.I checked my wiring and currently didn't find out why.

I use steve ward's DRSSTC.5 design

I will upload my PCB design tomorrow. My computer didn't have altium so I have to use it at school.

Are you sure your LC primary tank is ressoning at the ressonator frequency?

Try to get it working as a SSTC first.
Try reversing the primary connections and also the feedback CT connections and the primary GDT connections. Make all the combinations for this three parameters at low voltage input with a neon lamp to see if it oscillates.
The yellow toroid from the feedback Ct seems to be from a RF supressor (possible iron powder core). Maibe this is the trouble.
Verify again the circuit layout if it is correct.

You do not supply us with ALL the information about EVERY single component in your coil, so it is impossible to help you without guessing...

Ill start with... the bottom diode substituting the IGBT body diode, why is it connected with its middle leg to the mmc/primary coil loop?

I know I make this mistake. But later I found that the pin 1 of that diode is also connected to IGBT in my PCB.My TO-247 diode has only 2 pins.

What is the other necessary information?
