By pass cap necessary?

In Steves' DRSSTC-1 full bridge circuit there are two bypass cap(10uf) But for full bridge SSTC(40n60) is that cap necessary? Do I have to add it? Cheers.

those caps are not bypass caps but snubber caps, their main use are to reduce voltage or current spike, and keep your power semiconductors alive.

Its very important!!!!!!! man, it absorbs the voltage spike created by the not perfect zvs
