I find an ordinary DeWalt 2kW heat gun is all that's needed for shrinking the large diamater, heavy grades of self-adhesive heatshrink. It has a variable heat controller, so you can reduce the heat output and put on a smaller nozzle for shrinking the lighter, narrow grades. I wouldn't be without mine!
