On a whim I downloaded and installed "Synergy" ( their site) Just to see how it works and how well it works. I am pretty impressed and wanted to know if any one else had tried this software or simmilar software at home or at work.
The short description is: Synergy lets you use one set of keayboard and mouse to use on more then one computer on a network. In my case its a Suse10 computer and a WinXP computer side by side. When the mouse goes off one edge of the screen it pics up onto the other screen seemlessly.

that's interesting... I could definitely see it being useful [cntrl-d]
I have a different problem, my computers are too far apart and there are too few screens to go around (well there are, but some not in friendly environments) so I have freenx to link them all together. It sorta acts like one big huge kvm that can view any of my linux boxes from any of my other ones (win/lin)
As to the problem solved by synergy... I just have all of the screens connected to the same comp in my room (only 2 atm, but there might be a third if I get my second graphics card to play nice)... I can even drag windows between screens I can run vmware on one of the screens to solve the cross os problem
