Hi all. I am currently fighting this broken uC.
Its from a rather expensive (£240+ RRP) motorcycle clock made by Facomsa.
Seems to be stuck in reset, and there is no clock display unless you look really carefully. Additionally the revs meter is clicking, which suggests something has gone horribly wrong "somewhere".
Have also confirmed that the uC itself generates the reset signal, so my next port of call is to find out if linking out this so the uC runs does anything. Additionally tried linking SDA and SCL of the attached 24C02 e2prom, which stops the clicking.
There seems to be no backplane drive which is a bit strange in itself. However if you connect the LCD's backplane via a 1K resistor to +5V something happens on the screen in that there is a partial pulsing gibberish display but no readings when the bike is switched on.
Any ideas?
PM me if you have any suggestions for a fix etc.. i am willing to send components etc as payment if someone helps me get it working. -A #include "Nasty_OTP_jellybean_uC's.h"
