What is the highest voltage input you've achieved with the ZVS?

With modifications, of course, what values did you end up using, what was the input voltage, what fets, or IGBT's did you use....

I was wondering if it'd be possible to get to wall outlet power, but from what I understand that's hard to achieve properly without parasitic oscillations due to stray inductance in the wires. I rebuilt my ZVS driver, made it muuuuuch nicer, and cleaner looking, and used IGBT's. Do you think, that if I changed a few values of the resistors, it could possibly handle wall current without blowing up?

I attached a picture of it.

I was running mine on 50VDC at 25amps, I presume this led to its death

While a 'normal' flyback would die at some point, it is quite possible to wind a flyback to take 3kW or more, especially if you use two in an 'E' configuration. (see the 'group buy of ferrites' thread.)

I believe there are several people here who would like to know how to push more power through the Mazilli ZVS circuit, and what ratio of voltage/current will give the best results at these power levels.

Original "Mazzilli ZVS" driver was used to drive tesla coil (sort of worlds first drsstc)

It used 1200V igbts and was powered from rectified 230VAC

Without a picture of your traces, which I hope is solid copper wire under neath, a protoboard is not exactly something to take to those stress conditions...

It's soldering traces. Thick solder traces. It works fine all the way up to 40 volts DC, which is as far as the power supply at my school can give out. Sucked a max of 11 amps, over 50 kv output from the poor flyback. 440 watts of power through my flyback.

Switched it out with a coil of wire, made a screwdriver get hot to the touch. Not red hot though, just hot as in "OW".

I actually switched out the inductor with a bit more heavy duty one, thicker wire.
