For a series of VDG's that I am building, I need to buy maby 10 new and identical DC flybacks, and seem to remember a link posted to a supplyer quite recently. But I cannot find it. It was somewhere in UK afair. Pointers are much welcomed.
They are for the spray generator for these VDG's.
Here is an incomplete drawing of the topgear for this VDG.

CPC sell them, have a look here Link2

There's a very cheap one here Link2 but I have no idea what it is!

I vaguely remember someone posting a link to CPC sometime before relating to cheap flybacks, maybe that was what you saw?

Looks like a 28" flat screen TV.

As CRTs are replaced by flat screens you will find - for a while - suppliers dumping LOPTs on the market so they won't be stuck with useless stock.

I bought about thirty new, boxed LOPTs from a TV repair business last year for £10/€11.5/50RON and one can be certain that anybody with significant stock will be trying to get rid of it as quickly as possibly.

There will be a lag while spare LOPTs are diverted to developing nations where CRT TVs and monitors are still being repaired, but this will not last long.

Beyond the dumping period, there will be a very small 'rare spares' trade in 'new old stock' which we can suppose will last for years.

I can only underline what Proud Mary stated and note that (IMO) CRTs are very probably the best cost to part ratio source. Many industries used multi monitor configurations: some to an extreme (such as casinos or anywhere multi-level observation is needed). It may be possible to find a source of the same CRT in quantities & with a bit of work save an enormous amount of money. The new boxed monitor MAY be cheaper than the unit itself; especially if you can contact the seller person to person & take possession of the stock physically.

Ever since I found that export laws, Customs & shipping costs can vary to an extreme; I always try to contact what is "within my grasp".

A coiler from youtube pointed me to this site, quite some time ago.

Haven't ordered from them, but they seem legit. Just passing on info, not recommending or anything.

Price is right though at ~4EUR.

For a good example of the LOPT 'stock dumping' I described above, have a look at this CPC-Farnell page where LOPTs are now being offered for as little as 5% of their previous price:

This is true, but it is a dying business. If you check through the HR parts being sold off cheap by CPC-Farnell, and HR parts still on Donberg's list,
you'll find that in many cases, HR itself is no listing those part numbers on its own website.
