Great construction for your first HV project! Any chance we can get an overall shot of the internals? Any pictures of the arcs?

Ooo. Nice arcs. I recently built a ZVS driver too. I can't tell what's wrong with it but the arc's are insanely noisey and annoying. I think i need a better PSU.

I managed to fix it, and works sooo much better. The issue was the inductor, it was a ferrite toroid, and i switched it out with an iron powder one. After that i rebuilt it again, this time much more neater, and using IGBT's. I recommend using IGBT's over mosfets in ZVS's because they seem to push alot more power through the flyback with alot less heating than fets. Using my IGBT ZVS driver, i pushed 40 volts DC into it, at 11 amps current draw. The arcs were pretty amazing and hot!
