I want to build a VTTC but I can't find MOTs.Is there any alternative?

Can I use a ZVS driven transformer or voltage multipler to power my VTTC?

thanks

What transformers do you have access to?
I think flybacks provide too much voltage, and you're not going to be able to make a mains voltage multiplier that can provide that much current easily.

perhaps if you wound like 50 turns of wire for a zvs, as that would lower the voltage.
(zvs operates outside of flyback operation, right?)

I can find various kinds of ferrite core and bobbin and I have access to coil winding machines. So I can wind any ferrite core transformer.

You must first choose the thermionic valve you are going to use, and only then can you work out what power supply will be needed.

No TV or monitor-type LOPT ('flyback') will be suitable for supplying popular VTTC designs using power valves like 811.

An alternative to MOTs is to use actual valve PSU transformers but these are usually expensive, not always easy to find, and are costly to transport because of their weight. Parmeko oil-filled transformers are the gold standard against which the quality of all other transformers may be measured.

You can build cascade voltage multiplier utilizing some line filter elyt. caps from old CRT monitor/TV - e.g. 100uF/400V. I belive you can get about 1kV with reasonable current for VTTC. But I can't belive you cannot find any MOT, try to find some local rubbish collecting and recycling yard...

Is better a MOT, for a normal VTTC operation and the sword spark effect you need the AC half-rectified voltage envelope!

You could try using old tv transformers in a voltage doubler, that would give you around 1600 volts at 400-600 watts. Try using 2-4 of them

Yeah, but the coil will work in CW mode.. This isn't what the tubes want!
